Taiwan blends Japanese efficiency with Chinese culture, mountain scenery with bustling night markets, and hot springs with coastal cliffs. Taipei dominates tourism, but the island's small size makes regional escapes easy: beaches, tea plantations, and aboriginal culture lie just hours away, accessible by excellent public transit.

Taiwan Taoyuan (TPE) near Taipei is the primary hub; Kaohsiung (KHH) in the south handles secondary arrivals. Both are modern and organized. Immigration uses automated gates; queues form during peak hours but move steadily, usually 10–20 minutes end-to-end. English signage and staff are good, especially at Taoyuan.

Each answer shows when we last verified it against the official source. Entries we have not verified yet are labeled as dataset-only.
