Privacy Policy

We collect as little as possible, and we never sell your data. Here is exactly what that means.

Last updated June 2026

The short version

VisaGlance is built privacy-first. Our visa checker and tools run entirely in your browser, so the searches you do and the passport combinations you look up never reach our servers. We collect your email address only if you choose to subscribe. We don't sell your data, and we don't run cross-site advertising trackers. The detail below explains the rest.

What we collect

  • What you look up — nothing leaves your device. The visa checker, passport validity checker, and transit visa tools all run client-side in your browser. We don't receive, log, or store the passport or destination combinations you enter.
  • Your email address — only if you subscribe. If you sign up for our newsletter, we collect your email to send occasional updates on visa policy changes and new destination coverage. It's stored with our email service provider, and you can unsubscribe from any message.
  • Basic technical data. Like any website, our hosting provider may process standard request information (such as IP address and browser type) to serve pages and protect against abuse. Any analytics we use is privacy-friendly and aggregate — never a cross-site advertising profile of you.

Cookies and affiliate tracking

We don't set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies of our own. As of June 2026, no affiliate links are live on VisaGlance. When they are, clicking one may cause the partner's affiliate network to set a cookie so we're credited if you purchase. That cookie is governed by their privacy policies, it costs you nothing, and it never changes what you pay or what our checker shows. See how we make money for the full picture.

How we use information

We use the little we collect only to operate the site, send the newsletter (if you subscribed), reply to your messages, and improve our guides and tools. That's it. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

Third-party services

VisaGlance links to and may rely on third parties — travel services, visa assistance providers, our email provider, and affiliate networks. We don't control how they handle data. Review their own privacy policies before you use them.

Your choices and rights

  • You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any message.
  • You can ask us for a copy of, or the deletion of, the email data we hold — just email us.
  • If you're in the EU/UK (GDPR) or California (CCPA/CPRA), you have rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out of the "sale" of your personal data. We don't sell data, and we'll honor any valid request — contact us to exercise these rights.

Data retention and security

We keep subscriber emails only while you're subscribed, plus a short period afterward for our records. We take reasonable measures to protect the data we hold, though no method of transmission or storage is ever perfectly secure.

Children

VisaGlance is a general-audience travel information site and isn't directed to children under 16. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

International visitors

VisaGlance serves travellers worldwide. If you use the site, your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate.

Changes to this policy

If our practices change, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above.
